AMI offers standard and gold CD versions of all its Guides. Buying the
information on a CD gives you everything you would receive in a hard copy
format but in addition you also receive the opportunity to fully exploit the
value of the data.
CDs are supplied to run under Access 97 or Access 2000. You have to have
a copy of Access to run the CD. For further technical

and running CDs.
CD Functionality
Once you have bought the CD you can immediately carry out the following
functions
1. Print out a one page profile of any company in the database
2. Launch any website listed in the database using your local browser
3. Search for any combination of fields from the database to identify
particular companies e.g. all injection moulders of PP in the medical market;
all extruders in the Berlin area etc.
4. Export mailing data into a spreadsheet or word processor for marketing
purposes.
Standard CDs
AMI CD prices shown on this site are for a single user license which permits
the purchaser to install the electronic database contained on the CD on to one PC
and an associated laptop. Licences are available for multiple installations and for

Typically each standard CD includes the following set of information for each
included site:

Details of polymers used

Details of markets served/products offered

Details of post moulding/finishing operations

Equipment capacity (lock/shot, number of machines, film width etc)

ISO 9000 registration
An overview of the market concerned containing information about supply/demand
and key facts about the process is included with each CD as a .pdf file.
Gold CDs
Gold CDs include all the standard features but in addition

Estimates of polymer throughput for each process used

Comments about the company’s activities (where available)

Customised Solutions
Whilst AMI’s range of standard and gold CDs offer immediate solutions to most
customers’ needs, there will be occasions when a more tailored solution is
needed.
AMI has built a European superdatabase of all European plastics processors which
enables us to prepare a customised database to meet your exact needs. This
superdatabase is fully de-duplicated and allows you to see which processes each
plant carries out. Therefore you can specify exactly what you want according to
