Occasionally we may be unable to deliver if books/CDs become unavailable/out of print or circumstances arise beyond our control, but if there is a problem, you will be advised as soon as possible. If this happens, you will be given a refund of any payment made within 7 working days. This will discharge any liability for failure to deliver the book/CD in question. 3. PaymentPayment may be made by the methods indicated on our web site and will be debited when we receive your order. You will be charged the current price for books/CDs from our web site at the date you place your order. *VAT is payable for CD-rom sales to UK customers and Non VAT registered EEC customers only, at 17.5%. 4. Delivery ChargesA delivery charge of £3.00 per book/Guide or £1.50 per CD is added to orders within the UK, £6.00 per book or £3.00 per CD within Europe or the equivalent charge in Euros or US Dollars, and a calculated courier charge (based on weight) will be added to countries outside Europe and the rest of the world. At the time you make your order you will be clearly shown the calculated post or courier charges and by confirming your purchase you will be deemed to have unconditionally accepted these charges. No refund in full or part shall be offered as a result of a late delivery by the courier. 5. DeliveryBooks for delivery within the UK and Europe are normally sent by standard mail, (unless a courier delivery is requested by you). Books for delivery outside of Europe and the Rest of the World will normally be sent via courier. Books for delivery within Europe which are held in stock are normally dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of order and are usually delivered between 7-10 working days (subject to availability). Where books are delivered via courier, we aim to deliver 4-5 working days after we receive your order (subject to availability). We will advise you as soon as possible if there is likely to be a delay with your order. 6. Books on Special OrderAMI Publications and PiD accept special orders for books that are either outside our normal stock range or which have not yet been published. Payment for special orders must be made at time of ordering and is not normally refundable unless we are unable to fulfil the order or the goods are faulty. If we are unable to fulfil your order within 15 working days, we will advise you of the situation and give you the opportunity to cancel your order (and receive a refund on that item). This process will be repeated approximately every 15 working days until your order is delivered or you cancel it. 7. Mixed OrdersIf you have placed an order for several publications, and one of these items is on special order, items in stock will be sent to you and the balance of your order (the item on special order) will be sent to you under separate cover as soon as possible or may be cancelled by you, after 15 working days have elapsed. 8. Cancellation of OrdersFor normal stock items you can cancel your web order up to 30 days after you make it. If you want to cancel an order you must send an e-mail message to AMI Publicationsbooks@amiplastics.com stating your AMI Publications order number and the reason for cancellation. Confirmation of your cancelled order will be made by AMI Publications and the cancellation becomes effective when you receive that confirmation. If you cancel your order before we despatch any books your credit card will be refunded in full. Normally we would despatch the books to you within 24 hours of your order. If you decide to cancel your web order after we have despatched the books then you must return those books in perfect saleable condition to us within 30 days of your cancellation and we will refund the cost of the books in full to your credit card. However we cannot refund the cost of the postage and courier charges incurred in sending the books to you and you will bear the cost of returning the books to us at our Bristol, UK premises. We (the Seller) shall not be liable for loss or damage whilst returned goods are in transit back to our office address. Note that special orders obtained on your behalf ( and shown as red in our stock listings) are not returnable once they have been despatched unless faulty. AMI CD products require the user to contact AMI for an activation code before the CD is installed on a computer. Once the CD has been installed it is not returnable unless faulty. AMI's Top 50 Products (Products whose title begins with 'Corporate Performance and ...') are not returnable once shipped unless faulty. This is because these are strategic documents which include research which identifies the top 50 players in certain markets. Once the goods are shipped we consider that you are in receipt of that intelligence and no refund can be offered. If the goods are a special order that we cannot return to the publisher then you will not be able to return the goods and no refund can be offered 9. Faulty Items/ReturnsYou may notify us in writing or by e-mail or by fax regarding a faulty item, within 7 working days of receipt explaining the nature of the fault. You must then return the item in its original condition within 30 days. Books may be returned to us for a replacement or refund if books are found to be faulty i.e. overprinted pages, illegible text etc. or CDs if found to have a manufacturing fault. For this reason, if a replacement is sent, you will not incur a second postage or courier charge. Any AMI product supplied as a download is not returnable Refunds and replacements can only be given on receipt of the original item back at our UK office address of AMI Publications, 45-47 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3QP, United Kingdom 10.
